The thing thats most important is that you find you own way of doing it while remaining accurate… If you can do this, you’ll be 100% on top of the most difficult part of the Yearly Stars Consultation – the compass reading (and these days, in many cases, we can even use Google to do a compass reading!
The second thing is we all have to start somewhere. When I first started in Feng Shui I didn’t know what I was doing either – and I was learning Feng Shui in Chinese at the time!!
When I first began, I used to make mistakes but that’s how I learnt and that’s why I’ve been able to help you avoid those pitfalls throughout the modules as well.

What if I’m a complete novice…? I only heard the word
“Feng Shui” last week for the first time..
When I first road tested the Yearly Stars Consultation I gave it to a cross section of complete novices. In addition, every single module has been written for the complete novice.

Well you know what’s interesting for me is that prior to you telling me about knowing your Yearly Stars I thought that having my house Feng Shui’d I was set…
It was silly of me not to realise this but you had told me that my house faces North and Sector 1 was good for both Ron and me and so I thought this is totally great I don’t have to work again because the house faces North Sector 1 and then you come along and say no, no, no the Grand Duke is in the North this year and you’ve got a bad luck star in the South and I was stunned!
And what’s interesting is that I had noticed this at the beginning of the year, I had felt these energies and noticed things had shifted for both me and for my husband.
Things that had been flowing last year were running into little impediments and I was thinking “what the heck’s going on?!” but now it makes complete sense and I have the remedies up and it seems like the energy is freed up again and is flowing again and I will do it before the Chinese new year starts so that I’m prepared for it and I know what’s coming. And like I say I like to know what’s coming, I don’t like any kind of surprises.
So for me it’s a wonderful tool, I’m very grateful to you that you’ve made it available because really a lot of the time and a lot of Feng Shui practitioners keep these things very close to their chest, they don’t make it available to people because they want them to rely on them and here you are saying no, no, no you take control yourself, here it is, I’m going to show you how to do it. I think that for me the biggest thing of having this tool (Yearly Stars) is that it’s astounding to me that this is now in my hands. Doodie: I was really anxious about doing the yearly stars consultation in a big hurry because I could sense the energy change to our home that year and I knew I needed to put remedies up fast. So I jumped straight in once I discovered I had some seriously negative energy over my bedroom (and front door). I went into one of the Modules that told you what to put up for this and I went and put this Kirin Windchime up immediately. When I checked myself later I found I had put it in exactly the right place… I’d been guided by my good Feng Shui!
When I actually came to really doing it I found it really fascinating. Once I got into it I found it to be great fun and I really enjoyed it and I didn’t find it difficult. I found all the step by step guides work really well… and it does get a bit messy when you’re doing all you’re workings. The advice that you’ve given for getting it onto a big sheet of paper is good.
Gayle: it get’s messy for me too and that’s why the work sheets help.
Doodie: it probably took me about three to four hours because I actually did do it very thoroughly I did go from the beginning and I took the whole step by step process. Let Me Tell You a True Story about Steve X …
I first met Steve X after he had done some renovations that totally shut down his business overnight!
He went from a 2 million per month turnover to almost zero overnight and he stayed in that position for more than a whole month!

I have now found out that one of my bathrooms is in the east sector current prosperity star location and needs a bathroom remedy.
